Karolina Ządło (1999) is a Polish contemporary artist whose practice centres on painting and explores themes of femininity, identity, and psychological interiority. Her work engages with the complexities of the female experience, often challenging traditional representations through a nuanced and introspective visual language. Working primarily in figurative painting, Ządło constructs compositions that balance delicacy with emotional intensity.

Her approach draws on personal narratives as well as broader cultural references, reinterpreting ideas of femininity in a contemporary context. Through subtle distortions, layered surfaces, and carefully controlled colour palettes, her work creates a space in which vulnerability and strength coexist. Ządło’s practice reflects an ongoing investigation into how identity is shaped by both internal experience and external perception. Her paintings often evoke a sense of quiet tension, inviting viewers to engage with the subject matter beyond surface-level representation. Her work has been introduced to international audiences through curated exhibition programmes in London, marking an early stage in her expanding presence within the contemporary art landscape.

Ządło made her first UK Debut with Sarah Kravitz in a group exhibition frieze exhibition in collaboration with VZUG Mayfair.
