Residencies

The Sarah Kravitz Residency Programme operated across two locations in the UK, supporting local and international artists through distinct formats. Structured around access, time, and context, the programme provided artists with the conditions to develop new work while accommodating different professional and personal commitments.

The London residency offered locally based artists a flexible three-month studio programme, designed to run alongside existing responsibilities, with 24-hour access supporting a self-directed approach to production. In parallel, the East Sussex residency was dedicated to international artists and took place between Fairlight Hall and Bridgepoint Art Centre in Rye, providing a focused six-week period of work in a more immersive setting.

The contrast between locations was central to the programme: London offered proximity and flexibility, while East Sussex provided continuity and distance, allowing for concentrated development.

Each residency concluded with a final presentation, accompanied by a collector and press programme, including site visits and a hosted event at Fairlight Hall.
